10 Cheers in 10 Years

She was a petite girl with a sociable personality and a position on the pom squad as her only "claim to fame" among a student body of over 400. He was the tall, dark and handsome type and the lucky chap to receive an invitation to the winter formal with a girl one year his senior. Despite a few dates, however, the friendship never journeyed beyond the point of flirtatious, amiable chat. Therefore, due to her budding interest in another dashing young beau, the approaching affair began to feel more like an obligation instead of an anticipated fete. In the weeks leading up, she took the chance at calling it off and inviting the other handsome stud with whom she had exchanged a few moments of witty banter and found to be not only fetching but refreshingly humorous despite his quiet demeanor. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the latter description is referring to Mr Steele himself. The shy guy who was later elected as a student body officer and a Mr Panther candidate, the highest honor one can receive from the students and faculty of North. After having been introduced by a mutual friend, the two went on to become "high school sweethearts" attending their 10-year reunion this summer. It was a surprisingly enjoyable experience and one that compelled us to reflect back on the past 10 years following our graduation in spring of 1998. 

Friends and family, we ask that you raise a glass with us as we gratefully celebrate 10 cheers in 10 years...

- In Spring of 2002, Brad graduated from OSU with a BA in Finance.

- Brad interned with a bank and was later promoted to Energy Trading Analyst.

- In Spring of 2003, Angela graduated from OSU with a BFA in Graphic Design.

- After 8 years of dating, we FINALLY got engaged in Vegas baby!

- Angela began as an in-house Graphic Designer for an international publication.

- Brad became the NE Regional Account Manager for a petroleum-based marketing company.

- "At Last" we got hitched in July of 2004!

- Angela became an in-house Graphic Designer for an Oklahoma-based craft retailer.

- Brad was re-hired on with the previous bank as a VP.

- 38 weeks later, our daughter was born ;)
