A Breed of Your Own

In case anyone is experiencing a "case of the Mondays" and unable to accept the idea that everything has gone to the dogs, therefore, longing to curl up under a blanket [in the fetal position] and nap away the remainder of the day, I've uploaded an old favorite personality test of mine to alleviate the transition and allow one to join in on the Monday mayhem, doggy-style.

Now... once you have removed your mind from the gutter (People, please!), press the green play[>] button on the monitor below to view the pedigree determined for moi by the (C)anine (A)logorithmic (T)ransfer (S)ystem. Then, click on the gone2thedogs link, select GAME on the left-hand side, and answer the C.A.T.S. questions to determine the breed most compatible with your own personality. Afterwards, be a "(wo)mans' best friend" and inform us all of your inner canine in the comments section of this post, so we can see the diversity among our pack of friends. Thanks... oops, I mean Woof!

Stitches Needed

As unfathomable as it may be... January, the month notorious for kicking-off new year's resolutions, is already coming to a close. Maybe, just maybe, if we cross our fingers, close our eyes REALLY tight, and hold our breath while wiggling our toes, then we can push it back another week?!?! Hmm... didn't work here, my iCal still says JAN 22. Bummer. So, before we patch it up, creating another page in our memory albums with its scraps, I'd like to initiate a commentary thread on a related subject to those willing; either short and sweet or feel free to ramble on as long as it takes. I've presented a question(s) to get everyone meditating:

What is the number one excuse hindering you from fulfilling your innermost [personal] goal for your life? And, for those of you that have already begun a plan of action in order to achieve it, what is your chief strategy in combating it?

Liquid Sunshine

In spite of my preference for a warm, sun-drenched morning, there is something to be said about a dreary, downpour-filled afternoon. No doubt, an invitation to curl up on the couch in a comfy pair of yoga pants, a worn t.shirt belonging to one's hubby, and that unsightly fleece blanket no one outside the family is allowed to see. Prompting a [leisurely] mid-day indulgence filled with hot cocoa and your favorite DVD lineup. I tend to prefer those warm fuzzy kind of flicks, including You've Got Mail, Chocolat, or Sweet Home Alabama. However, I can assure you that my significant other would unwaveringly select a Harry Potter marathon. Which, before anyone criticizes because of what they've "heard," READ THE BOOKS, and you will THEN be allowed to pass judgement. (Ok, off the soapbox) So, which movies or traditions are your rainy day "savors"???
